I think what went well and what stood out to me was that the project fit well into my time spent there. The projects I did were never something that I was stressed about and just flowed really well. I had a hard time thinking about what to make as my project in the beginning of Internship. I think what I could've done differently was given myself an extra challenge. I don't know what I could've done as something extra, but maybe I could find something else to give me a push.

Advice I have for future interns is to 1; expand your possibilities. Internship should be something that you're passionate about and want to expand your knowledge about. So be open to researching the other things that you're interested in. It doesn't need to be one specific career path. The other piece of advice is to call the places that you really have your heart set on. I emailed so many places that never answered back. So it's important that you follow up and let them know that you're serious about it and hope they consider it.

aboutI reached out to David Harrison Photography for Internship, and luckily he agreed to take me in as an intern. I've been interested in photography/film for many years now, and am excited to experience what a photographer's work is like on a day-to-day basis. ArchivesCategories |
